The X-Men is an American punk band based in the Jersey Shore area of New Jersey. The band consists of members of the legendary band Chronic Sick, as well as Dave DeSantis of The Secret Syde and Laughing Soupdish.

In 1986, the X-Men released a self-titled album.

The X-Men were featured on the Mutha Records compilation CD, "Bands Only A Mutha Could Love."

The band was an opening act for Blondie, and has performed with Bruce Springsteen.

Reunion

In the February 2007 issue of Upstage Magazine, guitarist Jack Pitzer announced that the band was back in the studio recording a follow up CD to their first album. According to Dave DeSantis, the reunited group planned a large tour for winter 2007.
